Website Privacy
- This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how many people visit and what's useful. GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data like page views and general location.
- No personal information is collected directly by this site. No accounts, no forms, no tracking beyond basic analytics.
- The data displayed here comes from public sources: USGS for water levels, NOAA for weather.
- External links go to third-party sites (USGS, NOAA, TPWD, etc.) that have their own privacy policies.
iOS App Privacy
- Push notifications. If you enable water level alerts or special announcements, we store your device token and notification preferences on our servers. This is required to send you notifications. Device tokens are anonymous identifiers provided by Apple; they don't contain personal information.
- No account required. The app does not require registration or login. No email, name, or other personal information is collected.
- No analytics. The iOS app does not include any analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Local storage. The app caches lake data on your device for offline access and faster loading. This data stays on your device.
- Location. The map feature can show your location if you grant permission. Location data is used only within the app and is never sent to our servers.
To delete your data, simply disable notifications in the app settings. Your device token will be removed from our servers.
